In 1986, the Jersey Classic relocated to the Horse Park of New Jersey.  It was a new facility with not a tree in sight. We have since watched it grow into one of the finest show grounds in the East.  Located at 626 Route 524 in Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, it is easily accessible just minutes off Route 195.

We welcome spectators to come spend an enjoyable time with us at the Horse Park located in a beautiful, country setting.

Horses enrolled in the High Point Award program compete for the Charles "Doc" Covino Perpetual Memorial Trophy. This "Horse of the Year" Award is earned by the Saddlebred that accumulates the most over-all points at qualifying horse shows.  Our thanks again to the Aversenti and Covino families for donating this beautiful trophy.

The Annual Jersey Classic Horse Show                      June 8-10, 2018

The Horse Show committee worked hard to make this annual event held at the Horse Park of NJ a fun filled weekend for all exhibitors, family, friends and spectators.

To everyone who brought horses, competed, sponsored, volunteered or participated in some way we want to say THANK YOU!

To everyone who couldn't make it this year, we look forward to seeing you in the show ring next year, June 7-9, 2019!

Spectators are always welcome.  If you are not familiar with the American Saddlebred horse  this is your opportunity to watch them perform.   A kind disposition, trainability and desire to please are among this breed's most desirable traits.  The Saddlebred is a trotting breed that can be taught to perform the slow gait and rack.  And did you know that it is the oldest registered breed in the USA?
